Toni - Ann Williamson grew up in the parish of St Mary with her grandmother and aunt where she learned to wash, cook, and clean. "My aunt especially was very strict and instilled a lot of values in me such as being ambitious and honest. My aunt and grandmother are God-fearing women and taught me the value of having a strong faith, the power of prayer, and associating with people who will pull me closer to God." Toni - Ann expressed. Toni - Ann also recalled great childhood memories of going to the river, picking fruits with my friends, and playing games.
During her years at the St. Mary High School, she served as Deputy Head Girl and Activities Coordinator for the Mentorship Program. Toni - Ann was also a prefect and a top star member of the Jamaica Combined Cadet Force. She graduated with an Associate Degree in Humanities and is currently enrolled at the University of Technology to pursue a degree in Environmental Health and Safety. Unfortunately, Toni - Ann has decided to wait. "I opted to start at a later date as I don't think I would benefit from the program being done virtually, due to the nature of the subject matter." Toni- Ann explained.
Entrepreneurship Journey
Toni -Ann wanted to become an entrepreneur for the sole purpose of making money after which she had a change of heart. “I started this journey in 2019 and quickly realized that it required more than I expected. I rebranded 3 times and with each re-brand, it got better. As I transitioned and understood what was required, I realized that my driving force was my genuine desire of wanting to help others. This business was created to help others make their dreams work! People who come in contact with me can all agree that I am a very compassionate and thoughtful person who will always try to help others.” Toni - Ann shared with Education Jamaica Magazine.
Pink CX Consultancy Group
The major aim of the Pink CX Consultancy Group is to help small and medium businesses to improve their customer service experience. However, Pink CX has not always been Pink CX. “ When I first started, I named the business "Quality Assurance Services Solutions"; however, when I went to the Companies Office of Jamaica, I was told that the name is not unique enough. I had to come up with a name for the spot and decided to translate it to Spanish (Yes, I know!) and named it "Seguro de Calidad Services Solutions". After some months of working with that name, I realized that the market was not responding well so I made the decision to completely re-brand to "SCSS Quality Management Solutions'' which was short for "Seguro de Calidad Services Solutions Quality Management Solutions". I failed miserably!” Toni - Ann passionately expressed.
It was during a mental breakdown that she decided to find a name that "made sense". The result was Pink CX Consultancy Group. This is because pink is her favourite colour and "CX” is a customer experience agency and we are a consultancy agency. “The word group was added because my long-term goal is to establish other businesses which will then fall under it” she further stated.
Pink CX Consultancy Group currently offer the following;
The WOW Workshop. Which is a customer service workshop for business owners.
Customer Service/ Experience Coaching/ Consultation.
Professional Mystery Shopping Services.

A little advice from Shamar to other young Entrepreneurs 1. Be organized. As a start-up entrepreneur, you will wear many hats; especially if you are employed. Being organized will keep you ahead and functioning without chaos.
2. You will need support because you can't do it alone. If it means outsourcing or calling on your friends and family to give you the help you will need. So, begin practicing how to ask for help. 3.Be consistent and don't give up.
